Service Description

BookScribi is an AI-powered book generation platform that allows users to generate books using artificial intelligence. The service is operated by AITech Anjos, based at, Postfach 158, 8488 Turbenthal, Switzerland.

Subscriptions and Payments

Our service is offered via subscription plans billed monthly or annually.

Subscription plans entitle you to a defined number of book generations per billing period (e.g., 1 book per month, 3 books per month, etc.). Book generation limits are non-cumulative — any unused credits will expire at the end of the billing cycle and will not roll over.

Payments are processed securely via Stripe.

Once a subscription payment has been processed, refunds are not possible.

If you are an EU consumer, you acknowledge that by starting to use the service, you waive your right to withdraw under the EU Consumer Rights Directive.

Cancellation and Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.

Cancellation will prevent future renewals; no retroactive refunds will be issued.

After cancellation, you will retain access to the service until the end of your current billing period, unless otherwise stated.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your subscription and/or access to the platform at any time, with or without notice, if we determine, at our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or abusive use of the service, or for any other reason we deem appropriate.

In such cases, no refunds will be provided unless required by law.

User Age Requirement

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use BookScribi.

If you are under this age, you may only use the platform with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

Content Responsibility

Content generated using BookScribi is created by artificial intelligence, including services provided by OpenAI, based on user input.

AITech Anjos does not guarantee the accuracy, originality, legality, or copyright eligibility of any generated content.

Users are fully responsible for ensuring that the content complies with applicable copyright laws, intellectual property rights, and publishing regulations in their jurisdiction.

Some jurisdictions may not recognize copyright protection for content created solely by AI without significant human authorship.

Users must perform their own copyright and originality checks before publishing or distributing generated content.

Users retain any rights permitted by applicable law to content generated using BookScribi. AITech Anjos makes no claims of ownership over such content.

GDPR and Data Privacy

We comply with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and the European GDPR where applicable.

Personal data is collected only as necessary to operate the service and improve the user experience.

Data is stored securely and not shared with third parties except when required by law or necessary for payment processing (e.g. Stripe).

Users have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of their personal data.

Third-Party Services

BookScribi uses third-party services (including OpenAI and Stripe) as part of its service delivery. You acknowledge and accept that data may be processed by these third parties.

Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind.

AITech Anjos is not liable for any damages resulting from the use of the service or the content generated.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Switzerland.

Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts in Zurich, Switzerland.

Changes to these Terms and Conditions

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with the effective date.

Your continued use of the service after any changes have been made constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms and Conditions.
