How to Publish a Book
To publish a book, we recommend Amazon KDP.
It allows you to publish eBooks or print-on-demand books, meaning they are physically created by Amazon only when someone buys a book. You do not have to worry about managing stock.
After publishing your book, you may also purchase copies at the author price for yourself and resell/distribute them as you wish.
Follow these steps:
- Register on Amazon KDP, and enter all the requested information.
- Once registered, click on "Create new title or series" (or similar).
- Select "Paperback" to publish print-on-demand books, or Kindle eBook to publish digital eBooks
- Fill in all the information (Title, Subtitle, book description, keywords, language, categories, primary marketplace, etc.).
- In the ISBN part, click "Get a free KDP ISBN" and "Assign ISBN"
- If you have any doubts about any of the information, like book description, keywords, categories, etc., you can ask any AI provider (like ChatGPT) to help you generate these details.
- Upload your PDF file generated by BookScribi.
- Generate a cover with any AI provider (like ChatGPT), or other design providers (like Canva.com), etc.
- In the Book Cover section, click "Launch Cover Creator", then upload your cover, or simply use a default one provided by the Amazon Cover Creator (Text only or with images).
- In the AI-Generated Content section click Yes and in the Texts you can enter Bookscribi
- Preview your book and make sure everything is fine
- Select your Amazon stores and pricing
- Publish your book!
